Se encuentra ubicado al norte de la ciudad de Chañaral en el kilometro 19 de la Ruta C-120, marca el límite sur del Parque Nacional y es lugar de control obligatorio durante la temporada estival, el resto del año se mantienen controles aleatorios privilegiandose la atención del público en el Centro de Información Ambiental.

It is located north of the city of Chañaral at kilometer 19 of Route C-120, marks the southern limit of the National Park and is mandatory control place during the summer season, the rest of the year are kept random controls privileging attention of the public in the Information Center.
